Quick & Easy Cranberry, Brie, and Onion Tart | Vegetarian

Ingredients

  • Puff pastry
  • Oil & flour
  • 2 onions caramelized with 1 clove of garlic
  • Cranberry sauce
  • Thyme
  • Salt & pepper
  • Egg wash (1 egg & teaspoon water)

Method

  1. Drape chilled puff pastry into greased and floured baking dish.
  2. Poke a couple holes in the pastry to allow steam to release.
  3. Line the bottom of the pastry with the caramelized onion & garlic mixture.
  4. Add dollops of cranberry sauce.
  5. Add ½ teaspoon of thyme.
  6. Slice chilled brie into rectangles and place on top to cover the mixture.
  7. Sprinkle salt & pepper on top.
  8. Egg wash the rim of your pastry.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes on 400 degrees F.

Serving Suggestion

Serve warm or at room temperature.  A slice of this tart is a perfect appetizer when entertaining. Enjoy!
