Here I am at breakfast at Grand Cafe in Beirut, Lebanon.

I typically skip breakfast, except on the weekends, so I filled up quickly with all this amazing traditional breakfast food. Grilled halloumi is wonderful! The texture is that of a Canadian cheese curd with an almost squeaky chew. Fresh labneh (my favorite cream cheese) piled high with bread sticks, delish! Lebanese olives, eggs with meat, a vegetable platter of tomatoes, green chilies, cucumbers and mint, made this a memorable start to my day.
